  • Our boutique venue is ideal for gatherings of 75 – 120 guests. Our maximum capacity is 180 guests for a seated dinner with an open dance floor or 200 guests for a cocktail-style reception.

  • Yes, we are a single level building and our handicap accessible door is located on Main Street.

  • There is complimentary city parking available throughout downtown Wheaton including a parking lot behind our building off of Wesley Street. Guests will also be granted access to a parking garage located between Hale Street & Wheaton Avenue. Prior to your event, you will receive a custom parking guide to share with guests.

  • Yes, we have a few restrictions. Please speak with your assigned coordinator for approval on your décor elements. We do not allow confetti, glitter, faux jewels, paper or other similar types of decoration. Open flames of any kind are not allowed on The Moment on Main Property. No signage, balloons, or backdrops, of any kind may be affixed to the walls/ceilings.

  • We will connect you with your coordinator within 6-months of your event. After the introduction, your planner will reach out to you with the next steps! We will be available for questions and assistance in the meantime.

  • The set-up of The Moment On Main’s equipment is included in the rental fee.

    For Weddings: The set up of small décor items is included in your package. You will be provided with a list of items that your coordinator will set up for you.

    For Non-Wedding Events: You may arrive up to 2 hours before your event start time to begin setting up your personal items. Please touch base with your coordinator for assistance delegating décor set-up & tear-down.

  • We include an on-site venue coordinator to assist you with details pertaining to our location and manage the logistics during your rental time. If you are looking for step-by-step help or off-site ceremony management, we suggest hiring an outside wedding planner or coordinator. (Please inquire for our preferred vendor list.)

  • Yes! We have a beautiful modern bridal suite full of natural light and complete with three vanities, lounge seating, bridal suite kit, a full-length mirror, and a room divider for private dressing. Head over to our “Tour Page” for more details!

  • We have a complete list of approved caterers covering a wide range of various cuisines to help with all of your food, beverage, and service staff needs. Inquire today to find the perfect caterer for your event!

  • Our approved caterers have bar packages and are approved to serve your event. There are also third party bartending companies that we can recommend. You are allowed to provide your own alcohol as long as all liquor is from a certified liquor provider and it is served by an approved, licensed, insured, and basset-certified bartending company.

  • The Moment on Main must approve all outside caterers. There is an outside catering fee of $250 for taking the steps to approve a caterer not on the list. We cannot guarantee that every caterer will be approved.

  • Yes; however, there are two requirements:

    i. Your restaurant/food vendor is required to have a signed liability waiver on file with The Moment on Main prior to your event.

    ii. Service staff must be hired to service the entire event. The Moment on Main will connect you with one of their approved companies.

  • Yes, service staff is required for every event and must be on-site for set-up and tear-down. Service staff can be hired through your caterer or through our approved third party companies. We do not allow self-service events.

  • In order to confirm your event date, we require a signed event agreement and a deposit, which will be outlined in your agreement.

  • Yes! Dates may be placed on a soft hold for a maximum of five calendar days. No deposit is required to request a date hold. If a second party becomes interested in the date, then the patron holding the date will have 24 hours to put down the required deposit.

  • All deposits made are forfeited in full; meaning, non-refundable and non-transferable. Any event that cancels within 60 days of the event, the full contracted rental fee will be owed.
