A Classic White Wedding
THEIR LOVE STORY
For Margarita and Jason, it all started while she was studying abroad in London, and he was home in Illinois. After braving the online dating world and long-distance, Jason knew she was the one! For their proposal, Jason took all of Margarita’s favorites into account from carefully selecting her favorite season, ‘Christmas’, to playing her favorite Taylor Swift song during his speech. That night, Margarita was set on staying warm and cozy at home and after some deliberation Jason convinced her to take a walk through the Christmas lights. While bundling up, Margarita thought something was off when he acted “weird” after she jokingly put on his coat. Nonetheless, they braved the cold to see the light show. Once the two reached the end, Jason got down on one knee and asked Margarita to be his “forever babes” and marry him to the sweet sounds of T. Swift.
THEIR WEDDING
After two canceled weddings due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Margarita and Jason finally got to tie the knot! “If you know our wedding planning journey, you know that COVID really messed up our plans BIG TIME. Getting to see each other at the end of the aisle about to get married was more special than it could ever have been before because we really had to work for it with all the planning and re-planning" Margarita states. The couple chose a classic white theme as they had originally intended for a winter wedding. Nonetheless, their color palette ended up pairing perfectly with the carte blanch style of The Moment On Main. Touches of their original vision can be found in the snowflakes adorning their cake which added a special node to their proposal.
