Summer
For this year’s summer mood board, we thought there was nothing better than coastal chic. Our recipe for this vision combines ½ classic elegance, ¼ romantic, and ¼ bohemian style. We first started with a blue palette, this diverse color fits in any seasonal wedding trend but for summer we pulled a dusty baby blue as our main color with touches of dark blue for an accent. To bring elegance to our palette we focused mainly on whites, cream tones, and greenery. The statement of large fluffy florals aligned with the classic and romantic feel while the natural straw baskets ground them. We opted for a simple tablescape with trace enhancements of mixed blue designs.
Similar to the tablescape, the classic invitation-suite chosen shows off our delicate color palette with a hint of chinoiserie design wrapped in a chiffon bow once again incorporating all our style themes. We added a modern twist to this subtle yet stylish mood board with the addition of mismatched bridesmaid dresses. The patterns emphasize the overall theme while the variety cultivated a whimsical aspect adding to the romantic poise. The last styling decision we chose was a classic wedding dress with a sophisticated shape. There are so many beautiful patterns and textures in the overall wedding vision that going with a subtle and timeless dress was the cherry on top.
If you are planning a summer wedding, consider some of our ideas while looking for inspiration. In the wise words of Dorit Kemsley “it's so chic”.
