Inspired by this year's most popular wedding trends!
We set out to create a modern tropical disco infusion for this year’s “trendy” mood board; it’s elegant and glamorous with a hint of modern boho. Right now, natural texture with minimal color and heavy greenery is the new take on ‘classic’. We wanted to add a fun twist and loved the Studio 54 inspiration dominating the event world right now. We paired natural wooden tables and modern seagrass chairs with tropical greenery and elevated the tablescape with hints of pale orange pastels. We continued the subtle color through sage-colored bridesmaids dresses and a pop of seafoam blue in the invitation suite. By selecting a dramatic checkered dance floor and continuing the disco theme through small décor elements we added just the right amount of elegance to balance the tropical boho aesthetic.

There are many different ways to take this mood board and make it your own. The number one way to alter the look of your event is the attire. Choosing a wedding dress with a classic silhouette and dressing your wedding party in black caters more toward an elegant affair. If you prefer a ‘beachier’ casual aesthetic, opt for a bohemian inspired gown and select textured outfits with muted hues for your wedding party. Making conscious choices in your small décor elements can also alter the overall feel of your event. Consider adding seashells to the tablescape to enhance the tropical theme or swap out the tropical greenery for white florals and pair them with gold votives to play into the timeless look.
