NATALIE & ALEX

Romantic Springtime Nuptials

THEIR LOVE STORY

Although they met in elementary school, Natalie and Alex’s love story didn’t begin until highschool through their church youth group. They got to know each other through faith and friends until one special day at Cherry Beach in Michigan when Alex popped the question. Their waterfront sunset engagement was a complete surprise to Natalie who thought she was headed for an early birthday dinner. What felt like a movie was only the start. Natalie and Alex are looking forward to walking through the highs and lows of life together and helping one another grow in their faith.

THEIR WEDDING

Aiming for a romantic spring wedding, Natalie & Alex chose a mix of pinks paired with ice blue. It was important to Natalie and Alex to do what they wanted rather than follow tradition. They chose to have a first look which gave them the opportunity to sit on the stairs of their church together and have a private moment prior to the ceremony. The couple opted for a small cutting cake, baked by a close friend, which allowed them to be more creative with the design but still feed sheet cakes to all their guests. After their first dance to “Forever and Ever and Always” by Ryan Mack, they chose to skip the open dance floor so they could chat with friends and family. Natalie highly recommends using an app or planning service, like The Knot, to assist in your planning process. She also utilized Etsy to DIY her seating chart with a vintage gold mirror and gold wax seals. After all the planning, Natalie and Alex were surprised by a balloon filled car following their sparkler exit. A perfect end to a perfect day!
